MCNEA/MACN/MONE (3M) Task Force

The 3M Task Force is a collaborative comprised of representatives from three key nursing
organizations within the state: the Michigan Organization of Nurse Executives (MONE), the
Michigan Council of Nursing Education Administrators (MCNEA) and the Michigan Association
of Colleges of Nursing (MACN) working together to address the actions that relate to nursing
education recommended in The Nursing Agenda for Michigan: 2005-2010, Actions to Avert a
Crisis. The Nursing Agenda for Michigan 2005-2010 is a strategic plan for assuring a nursing
workforce that is adequate in numbers and high in quality to meet the health care needs of our
citizens today and into the future.

Due to many schedule conflicts for a December 3M Task Force meeting we have now set
Friday, February 5 as the date for the next 3M Task Force meeting. We will meet in Lansing at
a site yet to be determined but want to get on everyone’s calendar.
